NPUST Department of Fashion Design Holds Year End Exhibition

From June 3rd to 7th (2024) the NPUST Department of Fashion Design and Management held an end of year achievement exhibition for the 2023 Academic Year, showcasing some of the works the students created over the past two semesters. Many teachers and students came to check out the designs and the artistic achievements at the exhibition, which was divided into a dynamic catwalk presentation and a static exhibit of works. The annual presentation provides students with an important platform for mutual learning and also helps inspire a spirit of healthy competition.

The dynamic portion of the exhibition was held on the evening of June 3rd at the College of Management. At the show, the students’ fashion designs were showcased on the catwalk to allow the audience to get a true appreciation for the design concepts and details of each work. From complex lines to exquisite tailoring, every piece of work was an expression of the students’ passion and artistic talent.

The static exhibition displayed the personal works of students from each class. The contributions included everything from concept design drawings to finished products, and provided a comprehensive display of the students’ learning achievements and creativity. In the classrooms of each of the instructors, works based on different themes and styles could be viewed. These works included everything from clothing and accessories design, to makeup and hair styling, and even brand development. Visitors made their way from classroom to classroom to take in all the diverse creativity and gain an in-depth understanding of the students’ creative ideas and learn about the stories behind the designs.
