Continuing their championship momentum and aiming for consecutive glory, the EMBA Softball Team of the College of Management at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST) is ready to contend at the “2026 National EMBA Slow-Pitch Softball Invitational Tournament.” To boost team morale, the university held a flag presentation ceremony on October 3, where the Dean of the College of Management, Prof. Deng-Neng Chen, presented the flag to the team members and offered them words of encouragement before their departure. As the reigning national champions from last year, the NPUST EMBA Softball Team will enter this year’s competition to defend their title, hoping to leverage their teamwork and competitive spirit to achieve stellar results and bring further honor to the university.
During the flag-presentation ceremony, Dean Chen expressed hope that the team would embody the spirit of unity and cooperation when facing challenges on the field, while showcasing the vitality and cohesion of the NPUST EMBA program. More than just a sports competition, this event is a dynamic networking hub for EMBA programs across the country. It brings together professionals from a wide range of industries and schools to build friendships, strengthen camaraderie, and promote cross-campus ties. Furthermore, the EMBA Softball Team continues to serve as a vital bridge connecting alumni and the university, enabling partners to deepen their sense of belonging to the institution through sports amidst busy academic and professional commitments.
Following the flag presentation ceremony, the NPUST EMBA Softball Team is ready to take the field, backed by the encouragement of the entire campus. University leadership looks forward to seeing the team carry their competitive momentum forward, play with integrity, and continue adding to the program’s proud legacy.
