I am also grateful to curatorial team for their dedication, the artists for their creative enthusiasm, and the support of the participants”. Shih hopes that the exhibition will bring a touch of beauty to everyone.

The Pingtung County Tsui-Kuang Painting Society was founded by the master artist Professor Ho Wen Chi in the spring of 1960. It is the earliest established and longest-running art group the county. The Tsui-Kuang Painting Society has long been committed to promoting the heritage and innovation of art and culture. In addition to regularly holding joint exhibitions for its members, it is also actively involved in art promotion through exchange seminars, outdoor sketching, and other activities. It strives to continuously inject vitality into the local art scene while cultivating new talent for the art world.

The 40 works on display include oil paintings, watercolors, ink paintings, calligraphy, and mixed media, making for a rich and powerful visual experience. The participating artists come from different generations, each with a unique artistic vision and creative concept. With abundant artistic creativity, each work exudes the artists’ delicate emotions and profound understanding of life. Whether realistic or abstract, traditional or modern, they all have their own distinct personality and style, and are manifestations of the humanistic cultivation and artistic skills the artists have accumulated over the years.
