CMC Donates Another Vehicle, Joins Hands with NPUST to Cultivate Talent

After donating a brand new Zinger Pickup and an electric motorcycle last year, China Motor Corporation (CMC) has once again donated a vehicle to the NPUST Department of Vehicle Engineering to be used for teaching, practical training, and research purposes. The donation will help the department develop her students’ professional skills and cultivate R&D talent. A ceremony was held at 9:30 a.m. on December 6 (2024) at the plaza in front of the university’s Administration Building with NPUST President Chin-Lung Chang and CMC Section Chief Hsiu-Hung Chang presiding over the event.

President Chin-Lung Chang, expressed his gratitude to CMC for continuously supporting NPUST’s vocational education, and providing students with the opportunity learn on their vehicles in practical courses. In this way, students can improve their practical skills and quickly adapt to industry needs. Chang added that it was a great blessing for the school as it celebrates its centenary anniversary. CMC section chief, Hsiu-Hung Chang, said “not only have CMC and NPUST enjoyed a long and close industry-academia partnership, but many outstanding NPUST alumni are now serving in CMC. Through the donation of practice vehicles, we can help enhance teaching resources, and by actively arranging exchanges and dialogues between the specialists and the faculty and students of the department, we hope our industry-academia collaboration will promote the advancement and development of both parties so we can realize a win-win situation in the future.”
